Muskoka Cottage Kitchen
Described as the busiest room in the cottage and a regular entertaining hub for eating, drinking, and even dancing, this new build Muskoka cottage kitchen needed to be ultra-functional, embrace the natural surroundings, and radiate a welcoming modern rustic vibe.
In addition to functionality, the incredible outdoor surroundings also informed the overall kitchen design. Large windows and doors and an open-concept design allow unobstructed views of soaring white pines, lush green cedar trees, and sparkling blue water.
Natural materials such as textural wood cabinetry are paired with a neutral colour palette of warm white and black to provide contrast and balance between warmth and a sleek, modern edge.
Allowing the outdoor beauty of the forest and water to speak louder than the interior lends well to a modern rustic style that exudes comfort and style while embracing the concept of quiet luxury, cornerstones of contemporary Muskoka cottage style.
